Love not Hate

Note: Lots of people, myself included are experiencing a phenomenal amount of hate. For some of us it's been felt since our childhood. However, the hate seems to be increasing. I'm tired of the hate and the trolls who are hurting others because they are miserable or scared. This poem is for all of us who are tired. (Yes I quoted Yoda, but it's wise and fits perfectly).

Stop the hate

Embrace the love

Hold onto what makes you unique

Our differences are treasures

Skin color,

Religion,

Sexual orientation,

Political views,

Should not separate us.

We should be understanding,

Listening to those who are different.

However, things we do not understand

We fear and judge.

Fear leads to anger.

Anger leads to hate.

Hate leads to suffering.

Educate yourself on what makes you scared.

Only then can fear evaporate.

Don't listen to others.

Find the answers you seek for yourself.

Others will only twist the truth.
