Serenity

Rain to me is like finding peace

When I hear the thunder roar it calms my soul

I hear the lightning flash and it soothes me

This is my serenity

Serenity is like sitting by a stream in a forest

And hearing the birds sing and hearing the wind blow

It is like sitting on a cliff over looking the ocean

You see the great things the earth has

The earth’s wonders are my serenity

It brings me happiness when I’m sad

It lets me know that it has many things to give
